A thorough home assessment is completed and the client is provided with a written prioritized list of recommendations. Our company is able to secure any necessary products and we also have vetted contractors that can complete any agreed upon projects to ensure that everything is installed properly and that the client is using it correctly.

Home Assessment Services for Safety, Accessibility and Aging in Place.

I am a practicing physical therapist, accessibility consultant, and national instructor on accessible home modifications and safe patient handling. Since 2009, my company BILD – Bridgeway Independent Living Designs has provided solutions for accessible home modifications, medical equipment, and other solutions for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.

I have been a physical therapist for over 23 years. During the course of my professional career I have had the opportunity to provide home modification assessments and recommendations for adults with disabilities living in an institutional setting. My goal is to provide home modification services in a community setting in order to promote aging in place.

Currently a Master’s student studying in the Gerontology school (MSG Program). I would consider building the home modification industry back in Asia.

The Right Turn is a program specifically designed to help individuals affected by physical and cognitive limitations, regain and/or maintain their independence by safely aging in place. We provide in-depth home modification evaluations to assess a person’s functional needs, giving recommendations to ensure the home is the perfect fit for the individual, now and as he/she continues to age. Keisha has worked with Habitat for Humanity’s Capable program in Harford county for over two years, providing local low-income seniors with home evaluations and recommending the necessary modifications to ensure safety and independence.

Providing assistive technology and modifications for individuals with disabilities in their home settings.

I am an OT working in a Level 1 acute care hospital. I am passionate about assisting the elderly and families of children with disabilities to enable to live fully in their home environments and also encourage collaboration among professionals, local and state officials to promote home modifications in the community.

I am interested in community based practice especially analyzing a client’s need for an adaptive equipment and/or other barriers that limits their ability to participate in their natural environment. I have done volunteer work in home modifications and would like to continue to serve the community through my experience.

I have been an occupational therapist x27 years with focus on the older adult population so have always focused on ADL, home safety and fall prevention through modification. I am now specifically performing home assessments and providing recommendations to clients whose goal it is to age in place.

We offer assessment, design, and construction services for seniors who need to retrofit their homes for safety and independence and families with special needs who require their homes adapted for ease of caregiving, self sufficiency, and convenience.

I am a PT and still work clinically in the acute care setting, mostly with individuals with neurologic diseases. I am also an accessibility consultant with BILD, an accessible home modification company. I help with the assessments and complete all training on ceiling lifts and floor based lifts with families and their caregivers.
