As director of our organization’s education and outreach program, I teach home modification features and best practices to a variety of audiences. I also research new accessibility features, the best of which we include in our full accessible Demonstration Unit.

I created and manage the Safe at Home Program in Washington DC, a grant program which provides home modifications for older adults and adults with disabilities living in DC. I also run a private practice teaching home modification courses and private pay consulting.

Metro IHS is a licensed and insured Residential Building Company that specializes in home modifications for elder adults and persons with disabilities. We seek funding from third parties to pay for the home modifications. Metro IHS is owned by Hartford Community Development Corporation, Jewish Family Service, Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, and Southwest Solutions.

We provide home modification assessments and recommendations for individuals with disabilities and seniors. We are also available to assist in identifying funding resources, contractors and project management.

I have spent the last 10 years growing awareness of residential and commercial accessibility. I am a founding member of Home Modification Canada through the Canadian Home Builder’s Association.

I also had my own television show specifically related to an accessible and inclusive society.

I have had the pleasure of supporting the aging anf disabled population over the last 9 years with accessibility within their home. The company has grown to support those across Southwestern Ontario in Canada. We offer consulting, contracting and porject management services.

Beginning in 2016, we are a Licensed Building Contractor that performs all services in home modification: ramps, elevators, stair, vertical platform & patient lifts, zero entry showers, door widening, automatic door openers, garage conversions, complete bathroom and kitchen remodeling.
We are certified VA Builders and work with all VA Grants.

One Source Mobility, Inc. is a home modification and assistive technology business with offices in Roseville and Chico, California. I have experience with accessible vehicles, high tech driving control systems, complex rehab and home modification. I am an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and we will also have General Contractor’s License so we can execute the projects. Many clients we serve are living with CP, spinal cord injuries, diseases like ALS, MS, and MD. We also work with clients who wish to age in place. I started working in the mobility industry in 2002.

My primary focus is improving veterans’ abilities to stay safely in the home setting they prefer while also maximizing their independence and quality of life.

Home Assessment Services for Safety, Accessibility and Aging in Place.

I am a practicing physical therapist, accessibility consultant, and national instructor on accessible home modifications and safe patient handling. Since 2009, my company BILD – Bridgeway Independent Living Designs has provided solutions for accessible home modifications, medical equipment, and other solutions for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.

I have been a physical therapist for over 23 years. During the course of my professional career I have had the opportunity to provide home modification assessments and recommendations for adults with disabilities living in an institutional setting. My goal is to provide home modification services in a community setting in order to promote aging in place.

Currently a Master’s student studying in the Gerontology school (MSG Program). I would consider building the home modification industry back in Asia.

Our agency serves the seniors of our community by providing a host of home and community-based supportive services at no-cost, including Home Improvement Services. I have assisted the program through referral and assessment, as well as provided Options Counseling and Information & Assistance support by discussing options available to meet home safety and accessibility needs.

The Right Turn is a program specifically designed to help individuals affected by physical and cognitive limitations, regain and/or maintain their independence by safely aging in place. We provide in-depth home modification evaluations to assess a person’s functional needs, giving recommendations to ensure the home is the perfect fit for the individual, now and as he/she continues to age. Keisha has worked with Habitat for Humanity’s Capable program in Harford county for over two years, providing local low-income seniors with home evaluations and recommending the necessary modifications to ensure safety and independence.
