I’m an occupational therapist and co-owner of Enabled Living, a home modification business based in Atlanta, Georgia. We help people maintain independence and quality of life in their home through home assessments, home modifications, and adaptive equipment implementation.

My wife (who is a RN) and I started a construction company called Accessible Homes to help people stay in their homes as long as possible.

I currently provide home assessments on a part-time basis, primarily in the local retirement community.

My company is a small residential design firm located just north of Chicago. Many of my clients are Baby Boomers wondering whether to try to stay in their homes as they age or move out and buy another house or condo. I help them make this difficult decision by completing a home modification assessment for their house to show what improvements can be made to make it a safe and comfortable home to grow old in.

I earned a certificate from USC’s Home Modification Program, additionally, and concurrently, I earned a master’s degree in Gerontology from the University of Utah. My emphasis is in emergency preparedness for older adults.

OT of 15 years in home health and skilled nursing settings prior to transitioning to my own private practice.

For Safety’s Sake is mobile Medicare B outpatient OT and home safety modifications provider, proudly serving clients in northern Virginia for in home visits as well as telehealth for all of Virginia and Tennessee.

As an OT, I have completed several home evaluations to determine appropriate DME and home modifications. Each one specific to the patient and caregiver. I am now wanting to venture out to help those with limited access, specifically the elderly and disabled.

I’m an experienced Occupational Therapist with my ATP, CAPS and ECHM. I started a business of home accessibility consulting in Central Florida.

We formed this company, to do residential redevelopment. We have incorporated universal design and aging in place features in the home that we remodel so the buyer would already have the features in place. I stilll consult with architect and homeowners with home modification needs of their clients and as a Home Health Physical Therapist, I do Home safety Assessments and make recommendations for home modifications, supervise the construction as needed from a therapist standpoint and re-assess the patient mobility once the project is completed.

Our Critical Home Repair program services low to moderate income homeowners in need of major home repairs. These repairs must be “life, health or safety” related or a municipal code violation. Examples are water heaters, roof repair/replacement, handicap ramps or HVAC problems.

Lifespan Home Modifications specializes in all aspects of home modifications, residential Universal Design and Aging In Place. Services include design, specifications, Scope of Work & project management for new home construction, remodeling & handyman services. Provides home audits / environmental assessments and information resource on funding / financing home modifications.
