System Requirements: To participate in the Home Modification Alumni Bulletin Board, it is recommended that you have the following:
  • Netscape Communicator 4.02 or higher OR Mozilla Firefox 2.0
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 
  • 28.8 kbps modem (suggested) or faster connections to the Internet
Signatures: Besides learning about home modification, we hope this Bulletin Board provides a networking opportunity for you to meet and learn from others in this field. Since we don't "see" each other, be sure to "sign" your name and include your affiliation  when posting on the Bulletin Board. Some of you may have a “signature” function on your computer that makes this easy.

Returning to the Bulletin Board: Most Internet services have a way to "bookmark" web pages (or mark them as "favorite places.") Consider doing this for the Bulletin Board but be sure to "refresh" or "reload" the Bulletin Board page so that you are viewing the newest entries.

Netiquette and Bulletin Board Conduct

Please review the following standards of conduct which are required for participation in this Bulletin Board:

*Behavior should not disrupt or interfere with the freedom of expression of others participating in the Bulletin Board.

*Alumni should contribute to the Bulletin Board in a meaningful way that fosters a fruitful and welcoming learning environment.

*Posts on the Bulletin Board should use appropriate tone, language, grammar and spelling with respect for other posters' viewpoints and knowledge levels.

*The submission of material authored by another person but represented as the poster's own work, whether that material is paraphrased or copied in verbatim or near-verbatim form, will not be tolerated.

*The distribution or use of Bulletin Board posts for purposes other than information sharing without the express permission of fellow posters will not be tolerated.
